Cleaning

Quat-Gard should be applied, ideally as a foam, onto all surfaces at a dilution of 1:250.
Allow the product to soak for 20-30 minutes prior to thorough washing with high pressure.
For difficult areas contaminated with grease, Use Bio-Gard degreaser.

Disinfection Of Lairage (Holding Areas)

DISINFECTION OF PRIMARY SLAUGHTER AREA

Use Viru-Gard at 1%

Apply product using a pressure washer as a fine spray onto all pre-cleaned surfaces.
Viru-Gard is well suited for use in slaughter areas, but not those in direct contact with meat.

WATER DISINFECTION OF MEAT HANDLING AREAS

Use FarmCare Viru-Gard at 0.5%
Apply product using a pressure washer as a fine spray onto all pre-cleaned surfaces.

Apply product using a wheel dip or using a knap-sack sprayer, concentrating on the wheels of the vehicles.

FOGGING

It is appropriate to fog certain areas with disinfectant. This is normally done on a daily basis at the end of the working day. Use a mechanical hand held fogging machine.

PERSONAL HYGIENE
